This explains what we do with your personal information when you visit newbloompots.com or buy something from us. We keep it short and specific rather than exhaustive.
What we collect
- Order information — your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number and what you ordered. We need this to take payment and deliver the planter.
- Account information — if you create an account, your email address, a hashed password and your order history.
- Payment information — handled by Stripe. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We receive only the last four digits, the card brand and whether the payment succeeded.
- Messages — anything you send us by email, so we can answer you.
- Technical information — your IP address, browser and pages viewed, used to keep the site working and secure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services needed to run the shop:

Cookies
The site sets cookies that keep your basket and session working, remember whether you dismissed the announcement bar, and let you stay signed in. These are necessary for the shop to function. WooCommerce and Stripe set their own cookies for the same reasons and for fraud prevention.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete the account. Support emails are kept for two years.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@newbloompots.com and we will respond within 30 days. Note that we may need to keep order records even after deleting an account, because we are legally required to.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including the right to object to certain processing or to complain to a data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, payment data goes straight to Stripe, and access to order data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously and will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.
Children
This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
